Dr. Michael Fossum

Inspired by his extensive clinical and business experience and the opportunity to disrupt the standard in medical billing, Dr. Michael Fossum co-founded Nobility in 2014 with Christian J. Hoffmann, Nobility’s CFO and General Counsel. Under Mike’s leadership, Nobility is credited for introducing Nobility Pre-Funding, the first guaranteed revenue model for healthcare organizations, and innovating proprietary technologies through its off-shore subsidiary to optimize profits for Nobility clients.
Prior to Nobility, Mike launched SilverTree Health in 2007, a traditional revenue cycle management company which grew to support 300 clients and was acquired by a publicly traded corporation in 2015. He also owned and operated 12 pain management clinics from 2000 until their sale in 2007. During that phase, Mike formed a healthcare consultancy to address the business needs of fellow practitioners. He left private practice in 2004 to focus on the consulting venture before entering the revenue cycle management space exclusively.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic Medicine.
